NetQuote Agent Support Group: Experienced, Professional and FREE


Established in May , the NetQuote Agent Support Group (“ASG”) has a mission: to help NetQuote Agents grow their book of business. This article is an overview of who ASG is, why NetQuote created ASG, how ASG can help you, and how to contact ASG.

Who is ASG?
Every NetQuote ASG representative is required to have at least two years of insurance industry experience. Most have been licensed agents, and many still have current licenses today. In addition to having insurance sales backgrounds, many have experience in underwriting, claims, and working NetQuote leads.

The ASG team embraces a unique, team-based approach in order to support agent needs. With such a strong mix of experience and skills, ASG is not often stumped by an agent’s question. However, if a tough question comes up, the ASG representative has a large team to consult with and find the best suggestion or solution for the agent.

Best of all, ASG consultation is free of charge for all NetQuote Agents.

Why was ASG created?
This month marks the anniversary of NetQuote ASG, and NetQuote remains the only online lead provider to have such a large and skillful team devoted to its agents. Although NetQuote was founded in 1989, the company has had significant growth over the last couple of years. As more and more consumers are using the Internet to shop for insurance (see this issue’s Grow Your Business article), agents are realizing that they must market online in order to stay competitive.

As Rick Stone mentioned in his interview (see this issue’s Agent Perspective), managing online leads is something that almost every agent must learn. It requires a new approach, a sales strategy that is new to many – if not all – agents. This is what prompted NetQuote to form ASG.

NetQuote created ASG to help agents build their book of business by providing agents with the knowledge, skills and tools to successfully compete in a new market dominated by the Internet and the big carriers. ASG offers individual training sessions for every new agent that joins NetQuote. After getting to know the agent and his or her experience level with online leads, the ASG representative gives tips and suggestions to help each agent put his or her best foot forward.

Of course, ASG is a great resource for every NetQuote agent, regardless of his or her experience with online leads or as a producer in general.
