NetQuote and PL Rating Partnership Simplifies the Rating ProcessWhat agent wouldn't want a more streamlined rating process that allows them to service their clients and prospects faster and possibly increase their business, as well? That was the thinking behind the inception of PL Rating, a web–based comparative rating solution designed with the independent agent in mind and available for personal auto and home owners in 35 states. As a result, the company says, PL Rating eliminates errors and saves time. Once the agent determines which carrier to write the business with, they simply choose "submit" and they are taken directly into the carrier's site. The client's information is already entered and the agent only has to proceed with the binding processes with the carrier directly. It's this simplified workflow–along with a growing list of real–time carrier partners–that Dunnivant says gives PL Rating, as well as the agents who use it, a competitive advantage in the market. As for the partnership with NetQuote, Dunnivant says it was a natural match. "We're always looking to simplify the rating process for our customers," she says. "Since many PL Rating customers are also NetQuote customers, we felt the integration between NetQuote and PL Rating would further streamline the agent's rating experience. By importing NetQuote leads into PL Rating, the agent only has to complete required rating details in order to quickly receive multiple quotes and get back to the consumer quickly with multiple options."
